Grimaldo (turnoff)

Municipal (12, donativo) Albergue Municipal, on the right on the main road beside Bar Grimaldo (ask there for the key). Laundry facilities. Nice, simple albergue in a pleasant village. Tel 650 848 181 Open early

La Posada de Grimaldo has been highly recommended as an alternative to the pilgrim albergue. It does a special pilgrim price of 30€ per person, breakfast included. It's a little past the albergue on the same side. In a historic building with sumptuously decorated rooms. Website www.laposadadegrimaldo.es Tel 616 931 745 or 676 026 458

Cafés. Bar Grimaldo does good platos combinados and opens in the morning.

To get back to the Camino from Grimaldo, from the albergue walk up through the village for 620m to a road junction where you take a left, this brings you under the motorway and back to the Camino.
