Shop, cafés. Bank on the Camino after the square. Supermercado Claudio has a good selection, at the southern end of the square on Rúa do Outeiriño.
Restaurant Casa Carmiña, which is across the road from the Xunta Albergue, is unmissable if you want to experience fine dining as it was in the 1950s.
Bistró don Manuel on the south side of the square has also been recommended.
